Fire ants are an aggressive species and build large sand mounds in residential and commercial landscapes. With Antixx Fire Ant Bait, it only takes a few days to eliminate an entire ant colony. It contains a highly active ingredient that targets the ants and lasts for up to 60 days. It can be used most anywhere fire ants are found and also works to control harvester ants in residential, commercial and recreational settings.

How Antixx Fire Ant Bait Works

Antixx Fire Ant Bait contains an ingredient called spinosad, which is extremely palatable for the ants. It's derived from soil-dwelling bacteria known as Saccharopolyspora spinosa and works quickly and effectively against many insect species. Antixx contains a research-backed percentage of the active ingredient to knock out fire ants, including the queen, in a matter of days. After consuming the bait, the ants will become lethargic within 24 hours and die about 36 hours later.

Where to Use Antixx for Fire Ants

Use Antixx Fire Ant Bait anywhere fire and harvester ants are seen. It's not only effective at controlling fire ants on home lawns but also commercial growing areas like greenhouses and gardens. It's perfect for getting rid of fire ants in turfgrass areas and noncrop sites like roadsides and rights-of-way. It also works to kill and control fire ants in recreational areas such as:

  • Golf courses
  • Parks
  • Athletic fields
  • Playgrounds

Antixx is easy to apply to the target area and will control fire ant infestations for as many as two months when used as directed.

Target Pests

Antixx is labeled for the effective control of fire ants and harvester ants in residential, commercial, industrial and recreational settings. The queen ant typically resists chemical baits, but Antixx has a patented formula that fools the queen. It can take anywhere between 24 and 36 hours for the entire colony, queen included, to become infected after applying the bait. Within three to 14 days, all members of the colony will be exterminated.

Benefits of Antixx Fire Ant Bait

A major benefit of Antixx Fire Ant Bait is its fast and effective mode of action. The ants take the bait back to the nest and distribute it throughout the colony. Dead ants will appear outside the mound within a day or two. Some other benefits include:

  • Comes in an easy-to-apply formulation
  • Works on resistant ant species
  • Kills the entire colony within 14 days
  • Lasts for two months with a single treatment
  • Can be used on home lawns, athletic fields and more

Antixx Kills Fire Ants in 24 Hours

When used as directed, it's possible to see dead fire ants outside their mounds within 24 hours of consuming the bait. It's the perfect go-to ant control product when other insecticides fail to deliver expected results. It works quicker than most and can be used everywhere from residential lawns to athletic fields and farmsteads. It also works on invasive harvester ants and controls an entire colony within three to 14 days, providing residual control for a couple months.
